Trapped

Trapped inside the crystal clear jar, desperate to find a way out, I glanced all around me. Colossal plants towered above my head as they besieged me, swaying in the wind. Their emerald green leaves reached out to grab me; I shrank back in horror.

On the other side of my shoulder, there was a gargantuan fence looming over me as I ducked down just in case of danger. The dark brown dots on this fence were like a gigantic bug trying to make a hole. As I looked to my right I could see a crimson pot storing bugs and creatures that were unknown; I backed away in fright. I tried rolling over, I tried shouting as loud as I could ,I tried banging on the glass as strong as an elephant but all my efforts were in vain as I knew there was no way out. I was trapped like a mouse in a dark cage.

SSSS! I could hear something behind the trees; the sound made my skin crawl and my palms sweat. What could it be? Ripping leaves from the plants with its hairy legs, I felt my heart stop. Its large eyes stared at me and compelled me to retreat. Jumping, I tried to scare this monster away but how could I, I was its prey?

On the leaves, I could see it lowering its web and gliding down; I felt goosebumps on the surface of my skin. I was trapped.
