The Titanic disaster

I am so devastated after the tragic incident on my birthday. I mean it was just a summer’s day that my family and my friends booked to go on a huge ship called the Titanic. I was really looking forward to it because the people that built the Titanic said that this ship is unbreakable and unsinkable but it also had fantastic views of the sea (you could even jump in the sea and they will bring you out again). In the morning, instead of eating breakfast at home we travelled to our friend’s house to carry them along with us. Along the journey, we thought not to waste time so we ate our breakfast whilst walking. What did I have? Great question, I had a ham and cheese sandwich; a vegetable patty; some melon, mango and papaya washed down with heaven like coconut water. Finally, we reached the boat. Before going on the boat my mum (the queen) and my dad (the king)) got all of us some ice-cream. Now at this moment in time the candyfloss-clouds were gently swaying in the wind like a ballerina dancing on a stage. The trees gently waving goodbye, the sun giving a thumbs up. I felt safe.

Boarding the Titanic was the most fantastic experience for me because it was a maiden voyage. For the first few hours it was happy. We started looking in the sea and exploring new places. We ate a lot of dessert (it was free for us because all of us were royal). But the worst came when the strike of 06:00 pm was heard. The Candyfloss clouds turned into deafening loud and thunder clouds raging all over the ocean ready to battle. I was dead-scared. Suddenly we crashed into an iceberg and it tore an enormous hole in the side of the boat. As a result the ship began to sink in the merciless sea. The battle was coming to an end. We were all running for our lives. Thank goodness we were royalty because we were the first to be offered life-boats, after this it was the women and children who were allowed to be rescued. The men had to wait, which was terrifying for them. I lost my dad and my friend (Awa) on that ship but I am safe now. That was the worst. It was not just my dad and friend but in total 1,341 lives were lost. Just imagine.
