Have you ever in your lifetime had an unexpected time? Well, I have- A lot of times, but there was one which was very weird(this was our last trip). A trip to Manchester. Waiting for four hours and thirty minutes. Would you last that long?🤮 “WHOA!” well that was revolting.
“Hey, my name is Mila, sorry about that, just gone a bit cuckoo. I wonder what our next trip will be ?’’ I am currently at my grandparent's house because, tomorrow is my birthday, and we came to celebrate. Mostly at our grandparent's house, there were a lot of magic tricks because they were wizards when they were young.
Yippee! Time for a new enterprise. I got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. There was no one except my grandparents. Usually, my grandpa makes sure that he goes to work every day even when I come over to visit them. He is very diligent with his work that he doesn’t take even one holiday.
Granny forced my Grandpa to stay because they are always alone when we are not visiting. Hence my Grandpa took a leave. My parents never come out of their room on the travel day ( as they were so tired that they slept yesterday and today). Granny gave them breakfast in bed
Surprisingly, my grandpa got convinced by granny and instead decided to play Catan. So, we three played the whole day and it was really good fun. My Grandpa won most of the games. Finally, I tried to feign tiredness, so I went upstairs and cautiously went inside my parent's room. My parents were about to wake up.
I saw a cupboard and a key in the flower pot next to the cupboard. I rushed to picked up the key and slipped it in the cupboard door’s keyhole. I jumped in just in time before my parents can find me there.
Then …………………..WHOOSH!! There was pink dust all around me. I fainted with a frivolous look. Ohhh .. I got into a magic portal used by my wizard grandparents
When I opened my eyes, there was a shock waiting for me. I was in a ……..DESERT. The sand was so soft that I could sink in it. It looked like it could go for miles and miles. I looked to the right of me and there was a sea, which was so far away I couldn’t see where it was connected. It was a vague sight to see the sea as I was in a desert.
Suddenly I heard a noise behind me. I froze. It sounded like a roar and sharp teeth banging — each other. I turned around as slowly as a snail. I saw a ginormous dragon. It had a big round head, his eyes were flaming red fire, a very large body but a small tail. This frivolous dragon could talk! Dragon said “ Take this sword and shield and fight!’’ So I grabbed the sword, held the shield out, and concealed to fight. Then an idea popped into my head as I could see a portal behind the dragon. I dropped the sword and shield with a clank. I ran under the dragon’s legs and headed straight to the portal. I then jumped in just before the dragon shot fire at me.
Again I saw pink dust around and I fainted as I was back in my portal. When I opened my eyes I saw that I was lying on my bed and I felt lethargic from all that running. I realized that it was my birthday tomorrow. Finally, the day came for my birthday! I went down in the living room then ……BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a surprise! My parents and all of our neighbors were there and they were wearing flamboyant clothes with huge presents.
