Catwalk Queen

Oh god! Anxiety brewed inside of me like a potion, my heart pounded, my palms began to sweat and my legs started to tremble. Slowly, I approached the humongous stage and everything started to blur. As I peered out into the crowd to search for a friendly face, there were nothing but faces full of eagerness and waiting for me to take my turn. There was no way I could turn around and go back. I was scared and nervous as I was the first victim in the school’s fashion show.

Wearing my aqua-blue cut jeans, which were the most fashionable out of all, I made my way along the runway. My ruby red crop top, which I keep in my special draw, made me feel like I was a catwalk queen. I started to dance in my golden-yellow sparkle bellies as the encouraging crowd started to cheer me on. Before I knew it, I was on the floor with my legs up in the air! Oh no, I have ruined everything, I thought. With embarrassment and humiliation flooding my mind, I ran to the girls’ changing room at top speed.

After my really embarrassing moment, my favourite classmate, Jack, came down the runway giving me the most wonderful wink. He looked fabulously charming, I mean, wearing some of the finest leather jackets and some of the coolest glasses in the world. In my opinion he looked like a rock star. Fiery love flooded inside my mind as jigsaw puzzles started to form a design. Now this was one of the most absurd costumes a person has ever seen. Ollie, who is one of my classmates too, was wearing a ruby-red, marmalade-orange and lemon-yellow jumpsuit. He looked like a walking talking rainbow! As jumped onstage and wiggled his hips the audience began to roar with laughter. Finally, last but not least (also my nemesis) Leah took her turn down the runway. Her wide skirt started flashing and her baggy blouse started glistening, she looked just like a queen. I knew it was enough. Thank god it was finally over!

THANK YOU. SEE YOU LATER.
